PAKISTAN TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (PTAP) PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP ADMISSION GUIDELINE

Ministry of Economic Affairs Division of the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan award partial scholarship to Kenyan students under Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) on yearly basis. Eight seats are reserved for Kenya each year. Request for more seats has been forwarded to EAD for consideration.

  1. Dully Filled Admission Application Form
  2. Certificates / Mark Sheets of KCPE & KCSE
  • Recent Passport Size Photographs
  1. Passport , Birth Certificate and Kenya Identity card
  2. Result of SAT-II( for MBBS & BDS students only)

Fees

All students admitted under Pakistan Technical assistance Program should note that fees for the courses are highly subsidized. This is a Partial scholarship. On reporting date each student is required to pay their respective university hostel/ accommodation and tuition fees.

In addition the partial scholarship does not cover air ticket, therefore each student is expected to organize for own ticket to Pakistan.

SELF FINANCE

Substantial number of Kenyan students have been studying in Pakistan under self-finance scheme, notable preferable universities where a number of Kenyan students are studying under the said program include; Agha Khan University, Karachi, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Bolan Medical College among others. It is important to note that education in Pakistan is quite subsidized and Kenyans are encourage to enroll in large numbers even under self-finance scheme.
